Additional Features
Metal Fan Guard
While other models have a plastic fan guard, XLTH (Extra Low Temperature) models use metal for more durability in colder weather.
Base Heater
When temperatures reach 36ºF, a built-in heater warms the base of the outdoor unit so that condensation water doesn’t freeze, allowing it to drain out of the unit. Freezing condensate water can cause noise and damage the fan blade, condenser motor, and system performance without a heater.
Base Drainage Holes
The cultivated base design discharges melted water through many holes at the unit’s bottom.
