Efficiency Maine offers rebates to qualified Mainers. Thousands of satisfied Mainers already enjoy the benefits and savings mini split heat pumps provide. When properly installed and operated, modern, high-efficiency heat pumps can provide heat cost-effectively, even during the coldest winter.
Rebates
- $2,000 for the first eligible heat pump
- Up to $400 for the second eligible heat pump
Mass Save Mini Split Rebates
Install air-source heat pumps as your primary heating source and receive rebates of up to $10,000 from the Sponsors of Mass Save®.
- Whole-home rebates are available to customers who install heat pumps as the sole heating and cooling source. See the Whole-Home Heat Pump Verification Form for details.
- Partial-home rebates are offered based on equipment size (tonnage) to customers who plan to keep an existing boiler or furnace to supplement a mini-split system.
New Hampshire Saves Mini Split Rebates
Eversource, Liberty, and Unitil Electric Customers:
Mail-in mini split rebates are available when you purchase and install high-efficiency air source mini split heat pumps for heating and air conditioning. A WI-FI thermostat rebate is available for units installed with a qualified heat pump system. These rebates are available to electric customers of Eversource, Liberty, and Unitil while funding is available.
