Outdoor Condenser
Every system has an outdoor unit installed to work with the indoor unit to exchange air from the outside and transfer it to either heat or air conditioning. Different unit sizes and operating temperatures depend on the size and requirements of your home and intended use.
Wall Units
Depending on the season, a mini-split wall mount unit gets installed on the wall to distribute hot air or air conditioning. The wall unit is the most popular installation since it does not need ductwork, and you do not lose wall space because the unit gets hung on the wall at about 6′ 6″ high. Most significant selling feature: the wall unit does not need any ductwork.
Floor Unit
Floor units are low profile and hug the wall keeping them out of sight and blending into your home decor. Floor units do not require any ductwork, which increases their energy efficiency. These floor units blend in well with New England-style homes.
Ceiling Cassette
Ceiling Cassettes are low-profile units that get installed between ceiling joists and hug the ceiling, making for a clean installation and keeping them out of sight. The Ceiling Cassette design also allows for fresh air intake if desired.
Slim Duct Unit
Slim Duct Air Handling Units can be installed in tight and out-of-the-way locations such as attics and basements, allowing for flexibility. The units require ductwork so you can provide heat and air conditioning to specific areas. These units need additional installation work, but we can run ductwork for multiple rooms using one indoor unit. And the finish is nice because a surface-type wall, floor, or ceiling grill gets used for the air supply making for a pleasing aesthetic look. You’ll love it!
