Outdoor mini split unit for single & multi zones
The outdoor mini split heat pump unit is a piece of equipment that sits outside your home or building and works with the indoor units to transfer energy from outside into either heat or cold air inside.
The Superior Mini Splits team has the experience and skills to install any outdoor unit that fits your needs. The outdoor unit runs directly to the wall, floor mount, ceiling cassette, or slim duct unit with line sets. These line sets carry refrigerant between the outdoor and indoor units.
Fujitsu offers two different temperature operating outdoor units to choose from depending on the desired system operation for heating and air conditioning.
The standard Fujitsu outdoor heat pump unit provides heating down to 5 degrees below zero. For those applications where heating is the primary concern, Fujitsu offers the Extra Low-Temperature Heating (XLTH) outdoor unit, which provides heat in temperatures as low as -15 degrees.
The best outdoor heat pump unit to consider and that is best for you will depend on your situation. Get in touch with us today to discuss your options.
Single & Multi-Zone Configurations
Fujitsu Halcyon
The Fujitsu standard mini-split heat pump outdoor unit provides heating to 5 degrees below zero Fahrenheit.
Fujitsu Halcyon XLTH
The Fujitsu Extra Low-Temperature Heating (XLTH) outdoor unit is designed to provide heating in your home even if the outside temperature is -15 degrees below zero Fahrenheit.
Features
Fujitsu mini split heat pump systems provide heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort. Fujitsu offers several outdoor models, from single to multi-zone units allowing the connection of multiple indoor units from 2 to 5 indoor units, depending on the outdoor unit model.
Depending on your home’s decor, you can choose from four indoor unit styles – wall-mounted, floor-mounted, ceiling cassette, and slim duct air handler units.
We can design a system that’ll work for you with the right combinations, quantity, right style indoor units, and capacity. You can depend on us to design the right system for your home or business for years of comfortable living.
Individual Zoning
You can control each indoor unit independently by turning them on/off, changing temperature, air movement, up/down (wall mount unit only), and adjusting time clock operation by a handheld remote.
Inverter Technology
Fujitsu’s new, advanced technology, Inverter air conditioners, are more economical and quieter to run than conventional units. Fujitsu outdoor units can handle greater extremes in temperature, down to 15 degrees below zero, faster, smoother, and more stable than competitive systems.
Inverter control
Fujitsu’s Inverter design allows the outdoor unit to vary its speed and output to match the required capacity and operation of the indoor unit, so they work together to provide heating and cooling in the most energy-efficient manner. That is why the Inverter design can achieve more than 30% operating efficiency than competitive models and for much less expensive.
The Extra Low Temperature (XLTH) outdoor units operate in temperatures down to -15°F, lower than any other mini-split system available today.
These outdoor units include base drainage holes, a large heat exchanger, and a high-capacity compressor for superior operation.
The XLTH outdoor models have a base heater that prevents condensation water buildup from freezing. The sophisticated base design of the outdoor unit discharges melted water through many holes. Other mini-split systems available today don’t have a heater to prevent freezing condensate water which can cause noise and damage to the fan blades, condenser, and system performance.
Stable and comfortable
The air conditioner’s output power is stabilized at the optimum setting within the range from maximum to minimum to match the load, which is affected by factors such as room temperature and the number of people present.
